In a report, there are four sides/pages per sheet of paper. Each sheet is folded in half, turning two sides/pages into four. When counting sides/pages for your report, count all the sides (both front and back) for each inside page of your report just as you would count pages in a book.

*Do NOT include the four sides of your report cover in this count (front cover, inside front cover, back cover, and inside back cover).

  4. *Paper Choices (Cover)

    ?

The cover of a program, booklet, or report serves as a protective outer layer for the document. It is typically made from a heavier paper compared to the interior pages. This cover material wraps around the interior pages, essentially creating both the first and last pages of the document.

Self-Cover Option: If cost-effectiveness is a higher priority and you are less concerned about durability and extra protection, you can opt for a Self-Cover option. This term refers to a cover that is made using the same paper stock as the interior pages. It's a more economical choice but may offer less robustness and protection compared to a heavier paper cover.

  5. *Color Options (Cover)

    ?

Which color option should I choose?

Most reports are printed full-color on both sides, particularly those that include color images. If your reports don't contain color images or only have them on one side, you might consider a different option instead.

Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal for most reports. However, if your budget is tight, a well-conceived one-color design can prove an acceptable alternative.

    ?

    What is Aqueous Coating?

Aqueous coating is a clear, fast-drying, water-based coating that is used to protect your print pieces from dirt, fingerprints, and the bumps and tears of daily life. It adds a rich quality to any piece, provides a durable, yet high-gloss, satin/soft-touch finish, and is an excellent choice for your frequently handled print items. This coating option is the least expensive finishing option and is more resistant to paper cracking marks when folded.

    What is UV Coating?

UV coating is a protective coating applied to a printed sheet, then bonded and cured with ultraviolet light. This high-gloss coating is very shiny and durable, protecting products that are handled frequently and reflecting light in an eye-catching way. A unique feature of UV coating is that it can be applied as a spot, meaning you could select which areas you would like coated, whereas aqueous coating is applied as a “flood” or over the entire piece.
